W&C NY v. Latham Chicago

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Apr 11, 2024 11:02 pm

Current law student weighing up Latham Chicago and White & Case NY. My school is near Chicago and I love the city, but I haven’t spent much time in NY. But I’d love to live in either. I’m an international student looking to do cross-border transactional work (although I’m open to trying other litigation work too). I’d love to hear pros and cons of both, in terms of firm rank and optimal places to start a career.

Do you want to live in NY or Chicago?

can't go wrong with either. Congrats!

Though For What It's Worth, I have a couple of classmates at Latham Chicago and they like it.
With the caveat that it's biglaw so, it's as good as it can be.
